Bitcoin Rebounds to $64,758 From June Low: Thai Investor H2 2026 Guide

BTC climbed to $64,758 (+4%) on July 14–15, recovering from a $60K June 21-month low. Two catalysts drove the drop; the same two will decide if H2 delivers recovery.
Bitcoin Rebounds to $64,758 From June Low: Thai Investor H2 2026 Guide

Bitcoin hit $64,758 on July 14–15, up 4.01% in a single session, recovering from a 21-month low near $60,000 in late June. That June low was the worst level since September 2024. The bounce since then has been sharp enough to matter — but not yet sharp enough to confirm the bottom.

Bitcoin started 2026 above $93,000. By late June the market had shed nearly 35% from its January peak. Two factors did most of the damage. First, the Fed’s policy reversal under Kevin Warsh eliminated the “risk-on” narrative that supported crypto since late 2024 — rate hike expectations are directly hostile to Bitcoin, as higher yields make risk-free dollar assets more attractive than assets with no intrinsic yield. Second, spot Bitcoin ETFs saw substantial outflows through Q2 2026. When the funds that drove the 2025 bull market start selling, retail buyers who followed them in have no floor.

What Changed for the July Bounce

ETF outflow pressure has eased. Technical buyers entered around the $60,000–$61,000 range, which has historical significance as support. The base-case analyst target for BTC in July sits around $65,600, with the bullish target near $70,000. The bear case — if the Fed surprises with a July 29 hike and ETF outflows resume — returns toward $56,000–$62,000.

July 29 as a Binary Event for BTC

Bitcoin’s path through the rest of July almost certainly runs through the Fed’s July 29 decision. A hold — more likely — could free BTC to push toward $67,000–$68,000 as risk appetite recovers. A surprise hike would likely send BTC back toward the June lows as dollar assets become suddenly more attractive and ETF outflows resume.

This creates a useful framing for Thai investors: if you want BTC exposure but are uncertain about timing, waiting for July 30 — the morning after the decision — gives you a defined catalyst to react to rather than betting on directional conviction in both BTC and Fed policy simultaneously.

How Thai Investors Access Bitcoin

Thai residents can buy Bitcoin through ก.ล.ต.-licensed exchanges: Bitkub, Gulf Binance, and Satang, among others that have received SEC approval. Buying through unlicensed overseas platforms carries legal risk — the SEC and Ministry of Digital Economy have blocked multiple foreign platforms in 2026.

Bitkub quotes BTC in Thai baht. With the baht at 33.53 per dollar and BTC at $64,758, the equivalent is approximately 2.17 million baht per coin. A further 3% baht depreciation — possible if the Fed hikes — would push that figure above 2.23 million baht without BTC moving in dollar terms at all.

DCA vs All-In: What Makes Sense Here

No one reliably called the $60,000 bottom or knows where the next one is. What the data supports: BTC has recovered from corrections of this magnitude before, and the structural demand from US spot ETFs — even with recent outflows — represents a fundamentally different market than 2022’s bear. But the Fed is a real headwind that did not exist during the 2024–2025 bull run.

A structured accumulation plan over 8–12 weeks, sized to what you can hold without panic-selling on a 20% further drawdown, is more defensible than timing a single entry. The $60,000–$65,000 range has now been tested once. Whether it holds as structural support depends on what the Fed does in July and August.

What to watch: July 29 Fed decision, ETF weekly flow data published each Thursday, and the $67,000 resistance level multiple analysts identify as the next meaningful hurdle.
